TESTING
Semen Analysis
The quality of your sperms in terms of the number of sperms in your semen (sperm count), whether they are normal in shape (morphology); and how well they swim (motility) is evaluated in this test.
Postcoital Test
This test aims at understanding the compatibility between the sperm and the cervical mucus (a clear vaginal discharge, known as “fertile” mucus, produced by the cervix near the time you ovulate) at a time near ovulation.
Laparoscopy
A laparoscope (a fiber optic telescope) is used to examine your uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. It is common that the doctor will treat the problem immediately after seeing through the telescope.
Hormonal Evaluation
Hormones control every step in achieving pregnancy. Hormonal Evaluation measures the levels of certain hormones produced by your body during your cycle and to identity any potential hormonal imbalances.
Hysterosalpingogram
This test is to examine the inside walls of the uterus and fallopian tubes through using x-rays and a special dye to detect scar tissue, polyps, fibroids, and other growths that may be blocking your tubes or preventing a fertilized egg from implanting properly in your uterus.
Endometrial Biopsy
Endometrial tissue that lines the inside walls of your uterus which are essential for maintaining a pregnancy is being evaluated in this test.
Ultrasound Testing
High-frequency sound waves are being used to create images of your internal organs on a monitor to examine your ovulation and diagnose conditions such as pelvic masses as well as to examine the thickness and pattern of your uterine lining.
