What is Infertility

Infertility, by definition, is when a couple fails to conceive naturally after one years of trying. In Hong Kong, this problem is affecting one in every six couples.

Under normal circumstances, a couple is advised to see their doctors when they fail to conceive after one year of regular unprotected sex. It is very important to seek medical help as early as possible because fertility testing and investigation can be a lengthy process, and women will become less fertile when they are over 35 years of age.
